About us

The love of God, lived out together

Agape is the New Testament word for the love of God. It is freely given, and it asks nothing first. That love is what this church is built on.

To build a church that glorifies Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit and preaches the Good News in Plano and beyond.

Statement of Faith

What we believe

These are the convictions we hold together as a church. Our pastor would be glad to talk through any of them with you.

  1. The Bible

    We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the truth by which we live.

  2. The Trinity

    We believe in the Trinity of God and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary. He came to earth in human form, was crucified, died and was buried. He was resurrected on the third day and later ascended into Heaven, where He is seated at the right hand of God.

  3. Communion

    We believe in the Lord's Supper, commonly Communion, for believers as was practiced by the early church.

  4. Salvation

    We believe all mankind is guilty of sin, but the gift of forgiveness and salvation are free for those who call on Jesus for forgiveness of sin, thereby making Jesus Christ their personal Lord and Savior.

  5. Baptism of the Holy Spirit

    We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for Him.

  6. Divine Healing

    We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

  7. The Second Coming

    We believe in the Second coming of Jesus Christ both in His personal coming for His church and also to judge the world and reign in Supreme Majesty forever.

    Alongside pastoring the church, he practices medicine in Dallas as a neurologist and anesthesiologist.
